Boxing legend Mike Tyson foreshadows deadly end to eerie bout versus YouTuber Jake Paul

As Mike Tyson prepares to enter the ring against YouTuber and influencer Jake Paul, 27, on Nov. 15, the 58-year old boxing legend made some eerie comments that foreshadow a dire outcome for the youngest heavyweight boxing champion in history.
Netflix has released the trailer for “Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson,” a three-part series which will debut on the streaming network on Nov. 7, and will document the lead-up to the fight fans have craved since first announced in March.
The fight was originally scheduled for July 20, 2024, however, Tyson was forced to pull out in May after suffering an ulcer flare up as the result of a poor diet.
Luckily for fight fans (and Paul haters), the fight was rescheduled. But, the way Tyson is talking, the 1984 Golden Gloves heavyweight champion might not be as fit as he’s let on.
“If I do it bad, I don’t want to die in a hospital bed,” Tyson, who referenced death repeatedly throughout the clip, said. “I wanna die in the ring.”
Here’s to hoping that was hyperbole, and Tyson is healthy enough to compete, let alone save boxing from further embarrassment from Paul, who is 10-1 with 7 knockouts in exhibition bouts (against mostly over-the-hill, yet respected fighters or athletes), and hits hard.
“He’s a manufactured killer, I’m a natural-born killer,” Tyson quipped in another clip.
The fight will occur at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will stream on Netflix live on Nov. 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET, featuring modified rules, including shorter rounds and heavier boxing gloves.
